At this point, you should start interviewing your candidates. Since they might not even live in the same country as you, you’ll probably want to conduct interviews via Skype. Sometimes, you might both use a webcam to simulate the atmosphere of a real-world interview.
In this interview, you should make sure you and the candidate are on the same page. With freelancers, it’s especially important that they have good communication skills.

Once the interview stage is complete, you should have a good idea who you want to hire. When you’ve made your decision, close the deal by having your chosen freelancer sign a contract that outlines the project.
